The Ethics and Disciplinary Commission of the Albanian Football Federation has published disciplinary decisions related to the last week of the championships in the country, including the Superior Category, First Category, Second Category and youth football.
Among the most important decisions are the measures against the clubs following the incidents that occurred before the Elbasani-Tirana match. Clashes between fans have resulted in penalties for both clubs.
The Elbasan club, as the organizer of the match, has been fined 500 thousand new lekë and has been sentenced to play two matches without the presence of fans at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium.
Meanwhile, Tirana has also been penalized with a fine of 300 thousand new lek, as well as the holding of the next two matches without fans.
Disciplinary measures have also affected the Sopot club, which has been fined 300 thousand new lek for the behavior of its fans.
Decisions of the Disciplinary Committee:
1. AF Elbasani, for failure to ensure order and security during the match, by allowing unauthorized persons to enter the field of play, as well as for improper behavior of spectators, accompanied by throwing objects on the field of play and endangering the safety of match officials and players of the opposing team, based on articles 6/3/b, 8/1, 17/1, 17/2/a, 17/2/b and 17/2/h of the KDE, is punished with a fine of 500,000 (five hundred thousand) lek, as well as with the holding of 2 (two) matches without the presence of spectators in the respective stadium. The implementation of the disciplinary measure for the holding of matches without spectators will begin in the 2026–2027 sports season.
2. KF Tirana, for improper behavior of spectators, manifested by unauthorized entry into the field of play, throwing objects into the field of play, as well as endangering the safety of match officials and players of the opposing team, based on articles 6/3/b, 8/1, 17/2/a, 17/2/b and 17/2/h of the KDE, is punished with a fine of 300,000 (three hundred thousand) lek, as well as with the holding of 2 (two) matches without the presence of spectators in the respective stadium.
3. KF Sopoti, for improper behavior of spectators, accompanied by throwing objects on the playing field, endangering the safety of match officials and players of the opposing team, as well as the use of offensive chants, based on articles 17/2/b and 17/2/e of the KDE, is punished with a fine of 300,000 (three hundred thousand) lek. In application of article 76/1/b of the KDE, the fine is reduced to 20%.
4. KF Bylis official, Arbër Sino, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials, based on article 14/1/j of the KDE, is sentenced to 4 (four) match suspension from activity.
5. Opening of a disciplinary investigation regarding the incidents that occurred in the match FK Partizani U-18 against KF Tirana U-18.
6. Rejection of the request of FK Kukësi regarding the claim for the activation of players who do not have the right to play, as unfounded in the provisions of the Football Activity Regulations and the Code of Discipline and Ethics.
An appeal against the decision is allowed within 3 (three) days before the Appeals Committee.
