The future of Albanian striker Ernest Muçi remains uncertain, as Trabzonspor face an important decision in the coming days. The Turkish club has until May 10 to exercise its option to buy the player from Besiktas.
According to current data, the agreement provides for an amount of 8.5 million euros, divided into five installments. The first installment, worth 2 million euros, must be paid immediately after the final decision is made within the specified deadline.
However, recent reports indicate some hesitation on Trabzonspor's part. Sources close to the club suggest that the board is still hoping for a reduction in the financial demands from Besiktas, which could influence the final decision.
If the transfer goes through, Muçi is expected to sign a long-term contract until 2029. Another element that remains under discussion is the salary that the player will receive at Trabzonspor, an issue that has not yet been finalized.
Meanwhile, Muç's current contract with Besiktas is valid until the summer of 2027. If Trabzonspor decides not to activate the purchase option, the chances of the player being transferred to another club during the summer transfer window increase.
