Chelsea drew 1-1 with Burnley at Stamford Bridge in a crucial match of the 27th week of the Premier League, dropping two important points in the race for the top spot.
The Blues started the match in an ideal way, taking the lead in the 3rd minute. After a long ball from Moises Kaisedo and an assist from Pedro Neto, it was Joao Pedro who sent the ball into the net, giving the home team the lead.
The first half ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of Chelsea, who controlled the game and created chances, but failed to double their lead.
In the second half, the game took a different turn after the 72nd minute, when Wesley Fofana was shown a second yellow card, leaving Chelsea with 10 men. The numerical advantage gave Burnley more space, which increased the pressure in the final minutes.

Meanwhile, Brentford was defeated at home by Brighton 0-2.
