The latest idea in the world of football is the application of the blue card as a form of temporary punishment for a football player.
The blue card would be given in cases where the referee is not determined for the red card and in this form he would award the blue one, to exclude a footballer for ten minutes.
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp recently commented on this idea. The German is clearly against this idea, stressing that those who set the rules in football have never had a good and proper idea while adding that they are unnecessarily complicating football.
" I think that we should keep football simple because it is easier for the referees as well. If we add another card, then we add even more controversy, more discussion. People will start debating whether it was a red card or a blue card. These only make football more complicated.
They are testing this idea and I have no problem with it, but if they make it a rule I don't know how to comment. I don't think it's a good idea and to be honest, those who deal with the rules have never had good ideas about football ", said Klopp.
