“ RZ Pellets WAC announces the signing of 27-year-old striker Xhakomo Vrioni.
The Italian-born player joins the club from Serie B side Cesena. The player, who previously played for Italy's youth team and then the Albanian national team, has made his mark in the Austrian Bundesliga. In the 2021-2022 season, the player, who was on loan from Juventus, played under Tomas Silberberger at WSG Tirol and with 19 goals, shared the top scorer title with Karim Adejemi.

At the international level, Vrioni made his debut with the Albanian national team on October 14, 2018 in the match against Israel. However, the striker has not received an invitation from the Rossoneri since 2022.
With the transfer to Wolfsberger AC, Vrioni aims to regain his best form and have more space to show his potential in the Austrian championship.
