The General Electoral Assembly of the Albanian Football Federation will take place on Monday, February 16, at 10:00 AM, at the “House of Football” in Tirana. Delegates will elect the president for the next four years and the ten members of the Executive Committee.
A single candidacy has been registered for the position of president. Armand Duka has received the support of 33 members of the federation. He has led the Albanian Football Association since 2002 and, with this process, is expected to begin his seventh term at the head of the institution.
The Verification Commission has approved 13 candidacies for the Executive Committee. The list includes Abdyl Kuriu, Anila Basha, Arben Dervishaj, Armando Cungu, Blendi Fevziu, Edmond Hasanbelli, Envi Hicka, Erind Resuli, Ervin Canollari, Geri Çipi, Gjergji Petro, Lutfi Nuriu and Pano Xhixho. The Assembly will select ten of them.
The agenda also includes the review of the activity report between the two assemblies, the presentation of the balance sheet and financial statements, as well as the report of the independent and external auditors. Delegates will vote on the approval of the audited financial statements for 2025, the budget for 2026 and 2027, as well as on the appointment of auditors upon the proposal of the Executive Committee.
The decisions of this meeting will determine the administrative and financial direction of the federation for the coming years.
