Octopus Pol at the 2010 World Cup brought to the stage a long series of "oracles" of the animal world who have now become common in their predictions for important football events. And this time the Germans must hope their oracles are wrong, as two different ones on the final day have predicted trouble for the tournament organizers.
The Goaliath turtle in Berlin was the first to launch its predictions, with the Germany Scotland match. Plates of favorite foods were placed in front of her and she calmly walked towards the Scotsman predicting defeat for the organizers.

In Münster, an attempt was made to change the fate of Teo the tapir at the city zoo, but again the oracle predicted defeat for Nagelsman's team. He too had three plates of food to choose from for the outcome of the match and like the turtle counterpart in the predictions, he went for the Scottish one.

"It didn't go as they hoped," one of the zookeepers told "Bild", who however emphasized that the predictions would continue in the coming weeks.
