In the framework of the preparations for the upcoming match of the European 2024 qualifiers, Albania-Czech Republic, which will be played on October 12 at the "Air Albania" stadium, the leaders of the AFL held a meeting with the Minister of the Interior , Mr. Taulant Balla.
The President of the ALF, Mr. Armand Duka, General Secretary of the ALF, Mr. Ilir Shulku, ASF Security Officer, Mr. Armando Mandron as well as the General Director of the State Police, Mr. Muhammad Round.
At the beginning, an analysis was made for the match of September 10, Albania-Poland, to discuss all the problems that appeared during this match and for their solution in the next match. Then, the organization of the match with the Czech Republic was discussed so that there are no similar problems, including the throwing of flares on the field by the fans.
" The use of pyrotechnics and acts of violence in stadiums must end. The State Police and the AFF start today a stronger cooperation to put an end to these phenomena. Full implementation of UEFA rules and banning the responsible persons from entering the stadiums! ", Minister Balla said.
President Duka emphasized that the maximum should be done by all the actors involved in order not to risk further punishments for the National team, which would make it difficult for us to reach the goal of qualifying for the European finals.
Meanwhile, the AFL is working to offer a new online ticketing system to minimize problems and avoid speculators, having new experience with electronic sales.
" It's a software problem. For the next matches, we talked about using the same system that UEFA uses, which we also had in the UECL final, I hope we will achieve it and it eliminates all these problems. It is not that we have had great experience with the online system, now we have started, now the most problems have emerged ", said President Duka.
Minister Balla and the State Police have given all their support for the perfect organization of the match, while the leaders of the AFL have thanked them for the meeting and the support given in the last match with Poland.
The AFL will work closely with the organized groups of fans so that problems like those that happened in the match with Poland are not repeated.
Also, the AFL calls on all fans to support the national team, become the 12th player and stay away from behaviors that harm the National Team and themselves.
