The three Albanian teams still competing in the Conference League have learned the names of their potential play-off opponents.
Partizan, Balkani and Struga must first secure the qualification from the third round, but they are also prepared for future rivals.
The draw in Nyon, Switzerland was not generous to Partizan at all. Goglat decided that if the Latvians from Valmeira pass, the Reds will face the winner of the challenge between Astana from Kazakhstan and Ludogorets from Bulgaria.
The latter were the Balkan rivals in the first qualifying round of the Champions League. After winning the first leg 2-0 in Pristina, the champions of Kosovo were defeated 4-0 in the second leg.
Even Ilir Daja's team does not have an easy mission ahead, if they overcome the modest Lincoln Red Imps from Gibraltar. If it qualifies for the play-offs, to play again in the groups, the Balkans must pass one between the Moldovans of Sheriff Tiraspol or the Belarusians of BATE Borisov.
Only Struga smiled from the lot. The Shpëtim Duro team must pass Esparange from Luxembourg and then they will face the winner of Zrinjski from Bosnia or Breidablik from Iceland. This was also the easiest pair of the draw, with the hope that at least one Albanian will play in the Conference League groups in this edition as well.
