The Albanian U-17 national team has learned its group opponents for the European Championship to be held in Albania.
The Reds have been placed in a group with big national teams like France, Germany and Portugal.
Group B features Italy, Belgium, England and the Czech Republic. The draw was held at the "House of Football" in Tirana.
The major tournament, which will take place in Albania from May 19 to June 1, will welcome the eight best U-17 national teams in Europe.
Group A: Albania, France, Germany, Portugal.
Group B: Italy, Belgium, England, Czech Republic.
This weekend, a UEFA delegation visited the stadiums, training grounds and hotels that will host the participating teams during the month of May. On Saturday, the delegation assessed the works carried out at the “Niko Dovana” and “Arena Egnatia” stadiums, as well as the training grounds in Lushnje and Shijak. The hotels that will host the teams and referees were also inspected.
On Sunday, inspections continued at the “Arena Kombëtare” and “Elbasan Arena”, as well as the training grounds, “Selman Stërmasi”, the “Skënder Halili” complex and the RENEA Division field. The delegation will also visit the hotel where the UEFA team will be accommodated in May.
