Hoffenheim returned to victory in the Bundesliga, triumphing 4-2 away against Heidenheim in the match valid for the 25th week of the German championship.
In this match, the Hoffenheim coach once again trusted three Kosovar footballers from the first minute: Hajdar, Avdullah and Fisnik Asllani. The latter was one of the main protagonists of the match, contributing with an assist and a goal.
The home team ended the first half with a double lead thanks to Aleksandër Pras, who scored twice. The first goal came after an assist from Fisnik Asllani, while the second came after a pass from Andrej Kramarić, giving Hoffenheim a clear advantage in the first 45 minutes.
The second half also started in favor of the visitors. Fisnik Asllani scored the third goal for Hoffenheim after following the action until the end. After a save by Heidenheim goalkeeper Diant Ramaj on the first attempt, the Kosovar striker reacted quickly and on the second attempt sent the ball into the net.
The fourth goal for Hoffenheim was scored by Tim Lemperle, who had just entered the field as a substitute.
Luka Kerber scored twice for Heidenheim, narrowing the gap, but without being able to change the fate of the match.
After this victory, Hoffenheim holds third place in the standings with 49 points, being in a favorable position to secure a place in the Champions League next season.
In other Bundesliga matches of the week, Bayer Leverkusen drew 3-3 away at Freiburg. Leipzig won 2-1 in the last minutes against Augsburg, while Mainz and Stuttgart drew 2-2. Hamburg got an away win, beating Wolfsburg 2-1.
