The six matches valid for the 25th week of the First Category championship took place today, where four teams managed to win, while two matches ended in a goalless draw.
Skënderbeu, Pogradec, Laçi and Besa secured three points, winning against Lushnja, Korabi, Apolonia and Kastrioti respectively. Meanwhile, the matches between Kukësi and Luftëtari and Burreli and Iliria ended with a score of 0-0.
In total, 15 goals were scored this week. The most impressive results were recorded in the match where Pogradec defeated Korab with the score 4-1, while Besa won 3-2 against Kastrioti.
Skënderbeu secured a clean 2-0 victory against Lushnja, while Laçi triumphed with difficulty 2-1 against Apolonia.
Ranking after week 25
After 25 weeks of the championship, Skënderbeu continues to lead the standings, maintaining a difference of 3 points over Laç and 8 points over Pogradec.
The "Top 6" zone, which ensures participation in the "play-off" phase, is currently filled by Iliria, Kastrioti and Burreli.
Meanwhile, Besa is approaching the play-off zone, being only one point away from it. Korabi is lower in the standings and continues its efforts to move away from the danger zone.
Apolonia and Lushnja are currently in the play-out zone, while Luftëtari already has the same number of points as tenth-placed Lushnja. Kukësi, with 3 points less, also aims to get closer to this zone in the coming weeks.
