Armando Dobra has taken the next step in his career, transferring to Leyton Orient, a team that plays in the Third League of England. The London club officially confirmed the approach of the Albanian footballer, who comes from Chesterfield after good performances in recent seasons.
The 25-year-old has ended his time at Chesterfield and signed a three-year contract with his new team. Dobra was one of his former team's standout players, attracting the attention of clubs in the top flight of English football.
After the transfer was made official, the Albanian footballer expressed his enthusiasm for the new adventure in London.
" I'm very happy to sign for the club. The coach played a big role in my arrival here because of the way he plays and that suits me, so I can't wait to start. I'm ready for a step forward and this is the perfect place to do it. Working hard is an obligation and I'm one of those players who gives everything for the badge. I'm ready to start working ," Dobra declared to the club's media.
Dobra is a product of Ipswich Town's academy, where he made his first-team debut, making 30 appearances. However, he failed to establish himself at the highest levels of English football and later moved on to other categories.
In the international arena, the attacking midfielder has played 11 matches with the Albanian U-21 National Team, but has yet to debut with the first red and black team.
The transfer to Leyton Orient is seen as a new opportunity for Dobra, who aims to continue his career development and confirm his potential in English football.
