In an interview with the newspaper "Libero", Luciano Moxhi, the famous former Juventus manager, did not spare criticism for the current situation at Milan. With an in-depth analysis, he highlighted the structural and technical shortcomings that are hindering the progress of the Rossoneri:
" It's a group with great soloists, but they don't connect with each other. This Milan can win with anyone, but they can also lose. Moreover, the Rossoneri don't know how to enter the game as a great team.
Especially in the first half, they often find themselves at a disadvantage, are quickly punished by the opponent, giving the impression that they did not enter the field with the right mindset. Then, when they are hit and whistled by the fans, they react and at least manage not to lose, as happened in the 2-2 draw against Fiorentina .
Moxhi also commented on the situation on the bench, questioning the commitment of the Portuguese coach, who has been warned about leaving at the end of the season: " Conceisao has his mind elsewhere right now ."
"Big Luciano" did not spare the current club leaders either, underlining that a strong figure is missing to lead the red and black project: " Milan is not supported by a capable society. It lacks a charismatic leader, who is trustworthy for the environment thanks to his past. A big club, and Milan undoubtedly is one of them, needs strong leadership.
There was Maldini, but he left inexplicably. Paratici was mentioned, but now no more… The only manager who would be ideal for Milan, because of his past as a player and sporting director, is Igli Tare. Just look at how he resurrected Lazio from the ashes and brought them back among the greats ."
With this strong statement, Moxhi has once again echoed the debate about the need for a strong leadership figure at "Casa Milan", mentioning Tara as the most suitable profile to lead the red and black club towards its former glory.
