Albania will face Israel in a friendly match that will mark the debut of coach Rolando Maran on the red and black bench. The match scheduled for June 3 is expected to serve as an important test for the Italian coach, who will have the opportunity to closely assess the condition and form of the assembled players.
The Israeli national team is also expected to use this challenge for experiments and testing ahead of upcoming commitments. Coach Ran Ben Shimon released today the list of invited players, which features some notable absences.
Among the players who will not be available for this match are Jarden Shua, Dor Peretz, Anan Halaili, Omri Gandelman and Tai Ribou.
Meanwhile, the Israeli coach has decided to call up two young players for the first time: Tai Abed, who plays for Levante, and Sayed Abu-Frahi of Maccabi Tel Aviv.
