Manchester City star Phil Foden has criticised former England manager Gareth Southgate. In an interview, Foden suggested that he had not been deployed effectively during EURO 2024.
Foden, who played mainly on the left wing, struggled to find the form he showed at City on the international stage.
" I feel disappointed that I didn't achieve what I wanted. The position I was put in on the left was very difficult to influence the game. I'm someone who can play in several positions and I had to try to cope with that as best I could. I don't feel like England have ever performed or performed to the potential they had ," Foden told the Manchester Evening News.
