Yasir Asani is no longer part of the Iranian club Esteghlal and is now a free agent. The decision to terminate the cooperation came at the request of the footballer himself, who requested to leave the club and Iran.
Asani argued that the reason for this decision was the club's financial problems, as well as the tense situation created by the conflict in the country.
Meanwhile, Iranian media have published documents proving the request from Asan's lawyers to Esteghlal's management, as well as the footballer's official notification of the immediate termination of his contract with the Iranian club.

Notice of Termination of Contract due to Unpaid Payments
Dear Sirs,
I am writing on behalf of Mr. Yasir Asani (hereinafter: “The Player”).
Further to my email sent earlier today, I hereby confirm that Mr. Yasser Mahdavi, the Player's authorized representative, was at the Club's offices as requested. However, the Club has not prepared the funds. As a result, the Club has once again failed to rectify its ongoing financial irregularities.
Despite repeated demonstrations of good faith by the Player, the Club has consistently failed to meet its financial obligations and has consistently failed to fulfill its promises to resolve the outstanding debt.
In these circumstances, and considering the Club's continued and significant financial failure, coupled with the rapidly deteriorating security situation in Iran following recent attacks by United States forces, the Player is left with no reasonable alternative.
Consequently, the Player hereby terminates the Employment Contract with immediate effect, in accordance with Article 14bis of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.
The Player expressly reserves all rights and remedies arising from the Employment Contract, the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players and any other applicable regulations.
