In Spain, the prosecution has issued an arrest warrant for the former president of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales. Meanwhile, the former head of football in Spain is in the Dominican Republic. The Spanish television "Telecinco" was able to discover the hidden location of Rubiales.
On the official website of the "TardeAR" show, it is reported that Rubiales is in the Caribbean with his former soccer player friend, Nene, in "Cap Cana". The latter is a luxurious area in the Dominican Republic, where they are both enjoying exclusive restaurants and idyllic beaches. Officially, Rubiales' trip to Cap Cana would be for tourism-related business.
However, the newspaper "El Mundo" has reported that the former president has asked a favor from his friends in the Dominican Republic, to help him secure a passport from this country, in order to avoid extradition to Spain. But people close to Rubiales have rejected such a thing, calling it media speculation.
