In a result different from expectations, Como and Napoli were divided in a goalless draw 0-0, in the match held at the "Giuseppe Sinigaglia" stadium, valid for the 35th week of Serie A.
Como started the match at a high pace, creating the first dangerous chance in the 8th minute. Striker Anastasios Duvikas tried to break through the Neapolitan defense, but the decisive intervention of one of the Napoli defenders averted the danger.
In the 30th minute, the home team came close to scoring again, when Asane Diao tried a powerful shot, but goalkeeper Milinković-Savic reacted accurately, keeping the goal intact. The first half ended goalless.
The second half of the game continued at the same pace, with few clear-cut chances. Napoli came close to scoring in the 80th minute, when Scott McTominay shot wide of the left post.
Four minutes later, it was Mateo Politano's turn to take a serious risk, but his shot was stopped by the post, denying the home team a goal.
With this draw, Como remains in fifth place with 62 points, leaving open the possibility that Juventus can move further up the standings if they win against Verona. On the other hand, Napoli is in second place with 70 points, missing an opportunity to get closer to the top.
