Charles Leclerc has no shortage of imagination, both on the track where he always pulls off overtakes that few people see, and in his everyday life. This is evidenced by the Christmas gift he gave George Russell on the occasion of Formula 1's 'Secret Santa'.
The Ferrari driver turned out to have to make amends with his Mercedes colleague, with whom he had a minor argument at the Dutch Grand Prix at the Zandvoort track. During this race, Leclerc was the protagonist of a wonderful, albeit dangerous, overtake of Russell, who at that moment complained about the excessive maneuver of his Ferrari rival.
A controversy that practically died down immediately after Leclerc retired from the race due to an incident with fellow Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli. However, Leclerc did not forget that beautiful moment and so gave Russell a photo of that episode framed with the digital version where there was also a video of the maneuver. Russell's reaction was not delayed; when the Briton opened the gift, he received it with great irony, saying that he would probably give Leclerc a photo when Antonelli took him off the track.
