Midfielder Enis Shabani is expected to be one of the most talked about names during the summer transfer window, as several well-known clubs in the Croatian championship have shown interest in his services.
The 23-year-old, who left Mainz in Germany to join Vukovar at the start of the season, has stood out with his performances in the Croatian top flight. Despite his team seriously risking relegation, Shabani's individual performances have caught the attention of several rival teams.
According to reports from Index.hr, clubs Slaven Belupo, Osijek, Istra, Gorica, Lokomotiva Zagreb and Rijeka are interested in signing the midfielder this summer. Such a move would be an important step in his career.
Internationally, Shabani has been part of the German youth team, but then chose to represent Albania U21, with whom he played several matches in the European Championship qualifiers. A transfer to a more competitive club in Croatia could increase his chances of being called up to the Albanian senior team in the future.
