Lara Colturi celebrated her 19th birthday in the most perfect way. The Italian skier who competes for the red and black colors in the World Cup in skiing came in second place in the women's slalom race at the Levi track in Finland.
The 19-year-old skier was simply brilliant in the second run as well, finishing third behind legend Mikaela Shiffrin and Paula Moltzan with a time of 53 seconds and 42 hundredths, while the total time in both runs was 1 minute 50 seconds and 58 hundredths.

"I'm very happy, this is the first Slalom of the season and we've trained a lot. Sharing the podium with Mikaela is something special, she's an inspiration to me ," Colturi told RTSH after the race.
This time, which placed Lara Colturin in second place at the end of the entire competition, and better than her was undoubtedly Mikaela Shiffrin with a time of 1 second and 66 hundredths faster than our 19-year-old, with the American reaching the quota of 104 victories.
Lara Colturi, with this second place in the Slalom race, received 80 points, bringing her total to 116 points after the first two World Cup races and sees herself in third place in the overall standings behind Mikaela Shiffrin and Paula Moltzan.
