Arda Kurtulan is one of the footballers of Albanian origin who is doing quite well in Turkey. The 23-year-old plays for Goztepe and recently there has been reported interest from Germany for him. More specifically, it is about Leipzig, which is monitoring the situation in Turkey.
Kurtulan is known as a player who plays anywhere on the right wing. And although he is a defender, he has also been activated in midfield and attack when the team has needed him.
The fact is that he has never played for the Albanian national team, although he was previously convinced by the U-21 team to leave North Macedonia. The possibility of representing Turkey remains open for him as well.
Players like Elseid Hysaj and Ivan Balliu, among others on the right wing of defense, have been lacking minutes. The same can be said for Kurtulan, who is an undisputed starter in the Turkish Super League.
Goztepe has also been shown as an obstacle for the 23-year-old to play for the national team. This is because if coach Silvinho calls him up, it would place limits on the team regarding the activation of foreigners.
