The new coach of the Albanian National Team, Rolando Maran, has made public the first list of players assembled, officially starting his adventure at the helm of the Rossoneri.
On the eve of two friendly matches against Israel and Luxembourg, the Italian coach has decided to trust most of the current National Team group, but the list does not lack innovations and important returns.
The most notable invitation is for Luis Hasa, the midfielder owned by Napoli, who will wear the red and black jersey for the first time. Hasa has been part of all the Italian senior teams up to the U-21 level, but has chosen to represent Albania on the international stage.
Another new name on the list is Partizan goalkeeper Pano Qirko, who receives an invitation from the National Team A for the first time.
Maran has also brought back Alen Sherri, Simon Simoni, Andi Hadroj, Taulant Seferi and Cristian Shpendi to the team.
Meanwhile, some important absences have been dictated by injuries. Thomas Strakosha, Ernest Muçi, Nazmi Gripshi and Rey Manaj have been left out of the list.
The Albanian national team will begin its official training camp on June 1 at the "House of Football", where it will prepare for two friendly matches.
