The first half of the match between Partizan and Egnatia ended with a score of 1-1. The first 45 minutes had it all, goals, penalties and interference from the VAR.

Then in the 44th minute, Fangaj made a wrong tackle on Bytyçi and with the intervention of VAR, referee Hamiti awarded a penalty to Egnatia. Duamena takes over the penalty, but was unable to change the result as Hoxha became the hero by waiting for the 11-meter penalty at the end of the first half.
