Erjon Bogdani is starting another new chapter in his football career. After leaving behind his football career, the former national team striker has also taken on the role of coach or academy director in Italy, where a new adventure has begun for him in Serie B.
Bogdani will be an assistant to the sporting director of the Mantova club from today, which has decided to make changes in the sporting department. Today Mantova appointed former defender Leandro Rinaudo as the new sporting director, who previously held this position at Palermo.
According to the club's announcement, he has hired Bogdani as his assistant in this role, alongside whom he worked in the years when both were part of Palermo's structures, one as sports director, and the other as head of youth football.
Both will have a difficult task to revive the club, which is not doing well this season in Serie B, where it holds last place with 5 points after 10 matches.
