Boxer Oleksandr Usyk has been declared the undisputed boxing champion of the world, in the heavyweight category, after the victory he scored against Tyson Fury, in the competition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the early hours of Sunday.
He scored a victory even though at the beginning of the race Fury was in advantage.
Usyk, the 37-year-old Ukrainian, is the first boxer to hold all four heavyweight belts at the same time since former champion Lennox Lewis in April 2000.
Usyk turned the tide of the game in the eighth round, leaving Fury stunned by the force of his punches.
"Thank you very much.. it is a great opportunity for me, my family, my country. It's a very good day", said Usyk in tears, in an interview after the match.
