The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Gert Bogdani, passed away at the age of 44 after a heart attack. The president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has made a post on social networks, where he expresses his condolences to the family for this great loss. The number one of the AFL does not fail to mention Bogdan's contribution to Albanian politics.

I am shocked by the news of the untimely death of Gert Bogdan. This is a painful moment for the family, friends and all those who were lucky enough to know a man of extraordinary values like Gerti.
He was a rare personality, with unparalleled integrity and commitment, who made an important contribution to Albanian politics, but at the same time he was also a great football lover, who was not missing in Albanian stadiums as a fan.
His loss leaves a great void, but his legacy will live on in the memories of all those who appreciated him for his big heart and his dedication to Albania. In these difficult moments, I express my deepest condolences to the Bogdani family and all his relatives.
May he rest in peace!
