Just a few weeks after leaving KF Ferizaj, Tirana coach Nevil Dede has returned to the bench, becoming official as the new coach of KF Egnatia.
The club from Rrogozhina, the reigning champion in the Superior Category, announced on Monday the agreement with Dede, entrusting him with the leadership of the team for the remainder of the season and the upcoming project.
In the official announcement, Egnatia describes this move as the beginning of a new stage, with big goals and clear ambitions for continued success.
" A new chapter begins today. With the signing of the contract and the official presentation of the new coach, Nevil Dede, our team begins a new journey with ambition, passion and clear objectives. Welcome and success in this new challenge ," the club's press release states.
Dede returns to Albanian football after a brief spell in Kosovo, where he managed KF Ferizaj. He was fired on April 19 after a series of poor results that left the team in a difficult position in the table.
Currently, Ferizaj is ranked in the penultimate place in the Kosovo Super League and faces a serious risk of relegation from the elite, while survival in the league remains the main objective in the final weeks of the championship.
On the other hand, the next challenge for Deden at Egnatia is expected to be maintaining the team's high standard and continuing positive results, considering that the club enters the decisive phase of the season as the reigning champion and with clear objectives to defend the title.
