Sergio Alberto Jauregui, a former Bolivian soccer player died on the field of play after being shot several times while playing a friendly match in the city of Cuautla (Morelos), according to local and national media in Mexico.
The act is reported to have happened at 11:00 am last weekend. The 31-year-old was playing a friendly match in the Eusebio neighborhood when a man shot him six times in a row before leaving.
Minutes after the attack, emergency services and ambulances arrived to deal with the violent act in Morelos, as authorities immediately launched an investigation to find the perpetrator. Unfortunately, the former footballer did not survive his injuries and passed away.
