A new page opens in the history of Juve, Del Piero and Platini the names

A new page is opening in the history of Juventus. After the turbulence of recent years and after the transition period led by John Elkann and Exor, the black and white club is ready for a radical change in its management structure.

The latest decisions show that the vision is clear: to restore financial stability and build a management team with international influence. The biggest move is the appointment of Damien Komoli as a delegated administrator with full managerial powers. The renowned former manager, who took over the transfer market in the summer, will practically replace Mauricio Skanavino. The latter remains with an unclear future, between the possibility of coexistence with Komoli or a complete exit from the scene.

Elkan's choice to put Komol at the center of the project is a strong signal of professionalism and clear financial management. But the revolution does not stop there. The Board of Directors (CdA), which until now had only five members, will be expanded to eleven. This board will also include a figure beloved by the fans and with institutional weight: Giorgio Chiellini. The former captain is expected to have an important role not only in relations with the institutions, but also in the future of the club. His name is even circulating as a candidate for vice president, in the style of Pavel Nedved.

Meanwhile, a real "casting" process has been opened for the post of Juventus president. Gianluca Ferrero, who kept the club in a difficult period, enjoys respect, but Elkan seems to be aiming for a figure with a higher international profile. The names mentioned are big: Alessandro Del Piero, symbol of an era, and Michel Platini, icon of world football. But the possibility of choosing a more institutional and diplomatic profile, perhaps less connected to the field, as once happened with Jean-Claude Blanc, is not ruled out. All this reorganization has a single goal: to make the club self-sustaining. Exor has invested over 700 million euros in the last 14 years to cover losses and guarantee the functioning of the club.

A new model is now needed, one that will allow Juventus to go on its own and maintain a high level of competitiveness without the need for constant capital injections. On the horizon, for the fans and for the entire black and white environment, this revolution could represent a renaissance. A club with clear rules, with a stronger direction and with historical figures like Chiellini or perhaps Del Piero at the helm, has the potential to restore Juventus' identity as a major force, not only on the pitch, but also on the tables of European football.
