Italian Football Federation experts Bruno Redolfi and Stefano Florit held a theoretical seminar yesterday with UEFA C and B coach trainees, directors, regional center coaches, TDS program coaches, as well as coaches from various associations, clubs and academies from across the country, as part of the coach education program.
After the theoretical session, the coaches of the U-11 and U-14 age groups took to the field to closely follow the most modern methods of training young footballers.
In a statement to "fshf.org", Bruno Redolfi, responsible for talent development at the FIGC Talent Development School and deputy coach of the Italian U-15 team, said that the objective of this seminar was to give the idea for coaches to see the methodology of a training for young footballers.
" I feel honored and proud that we had the opportunity to share the most beautiful game in the world with Albanian technicians. It went very well for me, but I also expect the appreciation of the technicians who participated, who were numerous and very active."
Our objective was to provide support to Albanian coaches, making them see the structure and organization of a training session, the characteristics of our academies in centers in Italy, in which we develop dedicated methodologies in U-13 and U-14 academies, boys and girls.
"We wanted to show how, using a minimal space within the playing field, with little equipment, a complete training session can be developed, on which all the objectives and principles of the game of football with 11 players can be worked on, " Bruno Redolfi told "fshf.org".
Stefano Flori, in a statement to "fshf.org", also indicated that in this session, he conducted a training session according to the "Evolution" model used in Italy.
" First of all, we thank President Armand Duka and the Albanian Football Federation for this prestigious invitation, who is also a great friend of the president of the Italian Football Federation.
"Today we conducted a theoretical activity in the hall, where we presented the methodological guidelines and then we entered the field where I had the pleasure of, together with 20 boys, conducting this training session that corresponds to the model presented by the Evolution program in Italy, " said Stefano Flori.
