US President Donald Trump has had a phone conversation with Cristiano Ronaldo.
In a post on "Truth Social" he provided details from the conversation with the Portuguese football superstar, calling him "an extraordinary guy, not only as an athlete, but also as a person."

Last month, Cristiano Ronaldo was in Washington and was welcomed by the President of the United States, in the Oval Office. The Portuguese star was part of the Saudi delegation that visited the American capital.
During the visit, Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez were personally guided by Trump through the White House, visiting corridors decorated with portraits of historical figures and paintings in gold frames. The tour ended in the Oval Office, where the US president warmly welcomed them and took photos with them.
