Albania will be part of Group F in the 2026 World Cup, if it manages to pass the play-offs in March. A group where opponents will certainly include well-known names from different continents such as the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia.
Japan's coach, Haxhime Moriasu, commented on the draw of the "blue samurai", emphasizing that any team facing his team would be difficult, including those coming from the "play-offs" in Europe, due to the high quality of football on our continent.
“ We are in a very difficult group again. The Netherlands are undoubtedly one of the best teams in the world, having reached the final before. Tunisia boasts a strong defense and is capable of putting it into play after winning the African qualifiers without conceding a single goal. The winner of the play-off matches against Albania has not yet been determined, but as a team that regularly competes with its European rivals, there is no doubt that it will be a strong team.
Every match will be difficult. Against such opponents, we will first take the initiative and give 100% of our effort, preparing as best we can for every match, as we have done in the past. I want the players to develop themselves first so that they can have an impact at their clubs and contribute to their teams in preparation for the World Cup.
