Hajduk Split were eliminated from the Croatian Cup after losing 3-2 to Rijeka in the quarter-finals. The match was tense at the end, with incidents on the pitch.
The Disciplinary Committee has recently taken the relevant decisions regarding the events that occurred during the match. Hajduk Split's Albanian midfielder, Adrion Pajaziti, has been suspended for three matches.
According to reports, Pajaziti pulled the fourth official, Oliver Romić, aside in the 21st minute of extra time. The situation escalated further after the player insulted the referee team led by main referee Patrik Kolaric.
After the incident, the referee immediately showed the Albanian midfielder a red card. Croatian media reports that Hajduk Split are not expected to appeal the decision to suspend the player.
