"You won't get out alive," Albanian team official threatens match referee with life

The match between Drenica and Dukagjini, which ended in a 2-2 draw, in addition to four goals and emotions on the field, was also accompanied by tensions after the end of the match.

According to reports from the sports media outlet "Dueli Sportiv" in Kosovo, Drenica club official Granit Koci is suspected of threatening the match's main referee, Lirim Jashari, with his life.

The report mentioned by the Kosovo Football Federation states that Koci addressed the referee with the words: " If Drenica does not win this match, you will not leave Skënderaj alive ."

It still remains unclear what disciplinary measures the Kosovo Football Federation may take against the Drenica club official for this reported incident.

After 23 weeks in the Kosovo Super League, Drenica is ranked last in the table with 22 points.
