The 4-2 victory of St. Gallen v. Winterthur in Switzerland is considered a minor case. FCSG goalkeeper Zigi is in mourning. Shortly after the referee's final whistle, the St. Gallen, Laurence Ati Zigi (26 years old) stands in the center of the field. He sheds bitter tears, so he is comforted and hugged by his teammates.

The 4-2 win over Winterthur? Penalty saved? Jumping to the top of the table? Seventh win in seventh home game? All remain just side notes.

Because Zigi's thoughts are with the late Rafael Duamena. "I lost my best friend, I'm very sad," said the goalkeeper of the Ghanaian national team after the match in the mixed zone. Under the shirt, goalkeeper Zigi was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription: "Rest in peace, Rafael".

Zigi has known Duamena for half his life. "The two have known each other since they were little, they came to the 'Red Bull Academy' to train together," recalls FCSG coach Peter Zeidler, who used to be at Red Bull himself. It's all incredible. "I still can't believe it," said the 61-year-old.
