A few days ago, Kosovar judoka Distria Krasniqi achieved another great success, winning the gold medal at the Paris Grand Slam, in the up to 52 kilogram category.
After this triumph, the 30-year-old has stated that she is not thinking about retiring from the sport, as she continues to feel in very good physical shape.
In an interview for the official website of the International Judo Federation, Krasniqi emphasized the importance of training and the fact that during her career she has been spared from serious injuries.
" Good workouts keep me in shape. I'm also lucky because I haven't had any surgery. I exercise a lot and I get great results ," she said.
The Kosovar judoka has considered it very rare that she has not had any serious injuries during her sporting journey, considering this a key factor for the continuity of her career.
" And not having any serious injuries during this journey is very rare. I am grateful for this and this of course has a lot of impact on what I am able to continue ," Krasniqi added.
With recent successes and optimistic statements, Distria Krasniqi confirms that she remains one of the leading figures in Kosovar and international judo, with clear goals for the future.
