Ernest Muçi is going through one of the best periods of his career in the ranks of Trabzonspor, with a strong turnaround that has occurred in just the last two months in Turkish football.
The Albanian striker moved to Trabzonspor on loan from Besiktas, but the start of the adventure was not easy at all. In the first weeks, Muçi failed to show the expected level, often ending up on the bench and leaving doubts about his impact on the team.
Everything changed on November 24, in a dramatic match against Basaksehir. Muçi started the match from the bench, but came on as the game progressed and scored two crucial goals, giving Trabzonspor a 4-3 victory. This moment also marked the turning point for the Albanian.

According to Turkish media outlet Taka Gazete, Trabzonspor's management had previously considered letting him leave in January, considering him an element that was not contributing enough. However, the excellent form of recent weeks has led to this scenario being dismissed.
Now, the club is convinced of Muç's abilities and the management is expected to activate the clause for the final purchase of his card from Besiktas, making the Albanian striker part of Trabzonspor's long-term project.
