Kosovo Albanian defender Albian Hajdari is having an outstanding season with Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga. The 22-year-old joined the German club in the summer of 2025, after leaving Lugano, and immediately became one of the pillars of the team.
At Hoffenheim, Hajdari is an undisputed starter, recording 18 appearances out of a possible 21 matches in the championship. His good form has also contributed to the increase in his market value, which according to "Transfermarkt" has reached 12 million euros.
In the past, Hajdari has also been part of Juventus U-19, however, he failed to break into the Italian club's first team. In a statement for the official channel "bundesliga.com", he spoke about that period, describing it as difficult from a sporting point of view, but important for his personal formation.
" Juventus? From a sporting perspective, it wasn't a good experience for me. But it was very important for me as a person. I was only 18 years old, in a different country, with a new culture and language, far from my family. In retrospect, it helped me a lot, but as a teenager it wasn't easy ," Hajdari said.
He also revealed that during that time he had the opportunity to frequently chat with Cristiano Ronaldo, who was part of Juventus at the time.
" As an 18-year-old you usually just watch and don't have the courage to talk to world-class stars. But they have helped me a lot, as a person and as a footballer. Ronaldo and I spent time together in the gym before training and every morning we talked for about 20 minutes. It was a privilege ," he said.
According to Hajdari, the Portuguese star also gave him valuable advice for his career: to focus on football and personal development, emphasizing that the most important thing remains family.
Currently, Hajdari is proving himself in the Bundesliga, establishing himself as one of Kosovo's most promising defenders on the international stage.
