Emanuel Ernest is no longer part of Tirana. The Liberian footballer has officially announced his departure from the white and blue club, becoming the first departure from the team after the arrival of coach Orges Shehi at the helm of the team.
The 25-year-old had returned to Tirana with great expectations during the winter transfer window, but his adventure in this period did not go according to expectations. In the last match of the championship against Elbasan, he remained on the bench, while later the separation between the parties was confirmed.
The player himself reacted through a public message, where he thanked the club and fans for their support during his time with the team.
" Thank you very much Tirana. At this moment we decided that the best solution for both parties is to part ways. I am now a free agent. Thank you to the fans and my friends at the club for everything. I wish you luck for the rest of the season and moving forward ," Ernest writes.

During this short experience, Ernest recorded 11 matches with the white and blue jersey. His most notable contribution remains the assist for Etien Tare's winning goal in the Albanian Cup match against Skënderbeu.
Meanwhile, Tirana is going through a difficult period in the championship, with the team counting four consecutive losses in its last matches.
