The coach of the Albanian national team, Silvinjo, is finalizing ideas for the list of players on the eve of the match against Poland, valid for the 2026 World Cup play-off phase. However, the Brazilian coach faces several dilemmas in the offensive department.
Striker Armando Broja has not yet fully recovered from his injury, while Mirlind Daku is in the same situation. Their possible absence from the March matches forces the technical staff to consider alternatives for the attack department.
One of the names most likely to replace one of the two strikers is Taulant Seferi. The striker is seen as a possible option to fill the offensive department if Broja or Daku are not ready.
Another player being considered by Silvinjo is Stiven Shpendi. The young striker has had a positive season in the Italian Serie B with Empoli, where he has so far scored 10 goals and provided one assist. His performance has increased the chances of an invitation to the Albanian National Team.
