The new Formula 1 season starts in March and promises to be a year full of surprises. Ferrari is expecting a change for the better, even after the approach of Lewis Hamilton. His friend, Charles Leclerc, has said that they will return Ferrari to the top.
" Formula 1 is a relative sport and we can only know what we do ourselves. At the moment we are doing everything well and as a team we are much more solid ," said Leclerc.
The Monegasque then said that he needs to focus on his team and not on his rivals.
" We don't know if Red Bull or McLaren have found something special for this year's car. We just focus on ourselves and try to do the best job we can to have a good car ," added the Monegasque.
Leclerc also focused on the passion within the team.
" Ferrari is extraordinary because there is a lot of passion within the team and that is fantastic because everyone is willing to work an extra hour and is really motivated to change things for the better ," he said.
The Formula 1 pilot also touched on the team's sensitivity after the results.
" When things go wrong, the people who work here suffer the most because they have an emotional connection to the brand. Now I think we have taken this step to restore this brand to its former glory ," Leclerc said.
