During the qualifiers of the European championship, there is not only a battle for participation or for the prestigious title, but also for a large amount of money in case of qualification and positive progress in the groups and beyond.
In total, 371 million euros will be distributed to the participating teams, while during the previous edition this figure was 301 million, and compared to 2016, when Albania participated in the European Championship in France, this figure has increased by 23 percent.
Everyone is curious about how much a country's federation will earn for participating in next year's tournament. Albania, with the positions it currently has and looking at the remaining matches in Group E, is close to cutting a ticket to the finals of this competition.
Ten points and leading the group, the Reds and Blacks only need 5 points in the three remaining games to see themselves in Germany next June, as they will face the Czech Republic in October, while in November the other two challenges; in transfer with Moldova and in "Air Albania" with the Faroe Islands.
Amounts earned by teams from group qualification to Euro 2024 winner:
9.25 million euros for each team participating in the groups.
1.5 million euros for each group win and 750 thousand euros for a draw.
2 million euros for each team that passes to the round of 16.
3.25 million euros for each team that reaches the quarter-finals.
5 million euros for each national team that qualifies in the semi-finals.
7 million euros for the losing finalist
10 million euros for the winner of Euro 2024.
