The scandal with the racist calls in the Bucharest stadium, Agim Ademi reacts:

Kosovo left the playing field shortly before the end of the match against Romania, due to anti-Albanian chants in the Bucharest stadium.

Afterwards, there were also various provocations in the corridors, which further expanded the scandal.

The president of the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK), Agim Ademi, reacted, saying that the case will go to CAS.

Full post from the head of Kosovar football:

Dear players, fans, media and general public,

On behalf of myself and the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Kosovo, I would like to express my sincerest thanks for your unsparing support to the joint decision of our players, technical staff, staff and the Federation not to continue the game after the racist and anti -Kosovo that happened in Bucharest, in the Romania-Kosovo match.

This decision was not easy, but it was the right one. Knowing all that happened to us a year ago, we did not expect such a thing to happen again in Romania.

Now regardless of what legal epilogue this match will have, it should be noted that we have been emotionally hurt (and especially the players) by the constant provocations and belittling that the Romanian fans made in the chorus.

The climax was reached with the incident initiated by some opposing football players, which created a clear feeling of attack, not only against our team, but against our state and nation.

In those difficult moments, our players reacted with dignity, and we as the Federation stood by them to protect their emotions and dignity and that of our country.

This was a necessary act to preserve the integrity of Kosovo and to support every effort for a clean and fair sport, as are the principles of UEFA and FIFA.

We thank all institutions and public opinion for their fair and determined support. We assure you that we will not stop and will continue to seek justice in accordance with the regulations for such political cases and malice that have no place in sports up to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne.

Football should be a symbol of fair play and unity, especially in matches of this caliber.

We continue with pride and responsibility!
