Steven Shpendi, the young Albanian talent, who is making a name for himself in Italian football in the new season, can make his debut in Serie A, taking a very important step in his career. The youngster excelled at Cesena in Serie C and had attracted interest from big-name clubs in Italy.
Initially, it was reported about offers from teams such as Brescia, Palermo and Ternana who were looking for him in Serie B, or even Juventus for the U-23 team as well as Lecce. But the Italian media informs that one of the clubs that knows how to appreciate young people better, Empoli, has won the competition for the Albanian footballer.
