Just a day after failing to qualify for the Champions League, Milan have launched a profound revolution in the club's management structures. According to Italian media, the Rossoneri have officially dismissed the club's top executives, including CEO Giorgio Furlani, technical director Goffei Monkada, sporting director Igli Tare, and coach Massimiliano Allegri.

However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic appears to remain an untouchable figure in the club's new project. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the former Swedish striker is not directly employed by Milan and, therefore, technically cannot be fired, as he does not hold an official role within the club's organizational chart.

Another element that strengthens his position is the fact that Ibrahimovic owns shares in the American fund RedBird, the company run by Jerry Cardinale, which controls Milan. His role has been the subject of debate since December 2023, when he was introduced as an "Operating Partner" and "Senior Ownership Advisor" at RedBird.

Ibrahimovic reportedly agreed to invest in the American fund just months after legend Paolo Maldini rejected the same offer. Maldini left Milan in June 2023, while Ibrahimovic took up his advisory role at the end of that year.

Italian media report that the Swede is expected to have a major influence on Milan's build-up for next season, starting with the selection of a new coach. Ibrahimovic continues to enjoy the full trust of owner Jerry Cardinale, making him a key figure in the Rossoneri's future project.
