Manchester City could be without Kevin De Bruyne for Sunday's crucial game against Arsenal, which would provide an important insight into what the club's immediate future might look like.
The 33-year-old midfielder was sidelined with a hamstring injury until the start of 2024 last season but has returned to form this season, starting all but one game. That included the Champions League game against Serie A giants Inter on Wednesday, although the player left after the break after suffering a muscle strain in the first half.
De Bryjne appeared to clutch his hip as cameras caught him clutching his face while still on the pitch. The Belgian fancier did not come out of the tunnel again after the break and was replaced by veteran Ilkai Gyndoan. "I don't know, I haven't spoken to the doctors yet," Pep Guardiola said during his press conference when asked about De Bruyne's injury.
