Partizan coach Aleksandar Veselinovic commented on UEFA's decision, which awarded Albania and Serbia the hosting of the 2027 U-21 European Championship.
The Reds coach declared that it is excellent news, saying that it will be extra motivation for both countries. According to him, the initiative should be supported, while adding that Albania and Serbia will be talked about all over the world.
" I think it's great news, first of all for the sporting aspect, but also for the economic aspect of both countries. This should also be an extra motivation for both countries. I would be very happy if this were the best championship organized by the experiences in the world of football. I believe it will be an excellent message. I think that all of us coaches and the media who are part of football should support this initiative to the maximum. Personally, I would like everyone to think like this. Normally I don't have the power to force everyone.
I imagine that the whole world will talk about Albania and Serbia. I see here that stadiums are being reformatted and structures are being improved. Serbia has also built 3 new stadiums. In relation to this, there will be many children who will be involved in sports and will not be part of the street. Those children who will be involved in sports will certainly have their idols. If we take it as a whole, I think it is something fantastic , "said Veselinovic.
