Girls' Albania won the friendly match against Romania with a score of 1-2. The goals scored by Valentina Troka and Megi Doçi decided the meeting of this challenge, held this afternoon at the "Eugen Popescu" stadium in Romania.
The starting lineup of the match was this: Rexhepi (GK), Doçi (c), Elezaj, Franja, Curraj, Krasniqi, Troka, Dedaj, Hila, Berisha, Tukaj.
The Reds led by coach Armir Grima dominated the match from the first minutes and the goal came very quickly. It was striker Valentina Troka who put the team ahead in the 9th minute. Romania equalized with Kristina Karp in the 43rd minute and the first half ended with the numbers 1-1.
The second half started differently, with the red and black girls entering the field of play to score the lead goal and win the match. Coach Grima made several substitutions, fielding players Florentina Kuqi, Rreze Gashi, Mikaela Metalla and Kristina Hoxhaj.
The winning goal came in extra minutes, precisely in the 93rd minute, and was scored by captain Megi Doçi.
With the 1-2 victory, this friendly match ends as well as the 8-day gathering of the girls' national team. This gathering served the red and black staff to see the physical condition of the girls as well as to test the players close to the team.
